JobPay is a fictional project management and payment app intended to facilitate easier interactions between freelancers and business owners. For the final project of my UX Writing certification for UX Content Collective, I was tasked with developing a style guide for JobPay, as well as revising the app’s text and interface.

User Onboarding

Major changes:

  • Added parallel headers and subheaders on welcome screens

  • Corrected “swipe right” to “swipe left”

  • Changed “Login” (noun) to “Log in” (verb)

  • Changed “SIGNUP” to “Sign up”

  • Corrected unnecessary capitalization

  • Introduced style guide terms “freelancer” and “business owner”
